The Amazing Spider: Darwin's Bark Spider
A new insect species of Darwin's bark spider in Madagascar ( we called Caerostris Darwini) -discovered in 2009. When scientists observed this small spider for the first time, they were surprised because of its unusual web.
Firstly, tiny and unusual spider has a unique web. Its silk is the toughest biological material ever found in the world because it is ten times stronger Kevlar used for bulletproof vests. This species was named for honours of the father of biology Charles Darwin.
Matjaź Gregorič says "We hypothesize that this combination was a predisposition for the spider to being able to conquer the unique habitat. No other spider utilizes the air column above open water, so probably, web size and material properties went hand in hand with habitat adaptation."
Secondly, it can spray a line for crossing a river which is 25 metre. This orb-web bridge consists of silk and fibres. Process is quite simple that it produces unusual big silk into the air that helps to reach its goal. Then, spider strengthens its unique orb web to across easily. After that, it creates a huge trap which can catch 20 insects once. Interestingly, when it makes a mistake to produce web, it eats own web for not waste of its silk.
Spiders basically have eight walking legs, six or eight eyes, jaws and spinnerets which produce silk. According to fossils, they must have evolved about 400 million years ago and they have over 35.000 species worldwide. However, the Darwin's bark spider which was discovered new, it differs from another spider species.

Who knows that one day its orb web might help to solve main molecular features for the human race in terms of creating new treatment ways or developing new devices in Biomedical Sciences.
